As stated before we are now using dog guard “Out of Site Fencing” products, exclusively. We are now an authorized dealer/installer of dog guard.
A quick look on equipment that we install and use consists on three different collars (receivers) and only one transmitter. Although dog guard offers more equipment we choose to use the following:
Other points of interest that we would like to address is that we can perform a variety of services other than just installing a brand new dog fence. We suggest contacting us so we can discuss pricing and details, or arrange a time to come out and give you an estimate. This includes:
The reason that we are using the equipment listed above exclusively (but not limited to) is solely based on the fact that all of these products are encoded. Encoded is another word for filter, meaning that no interference can take place. Interference can be caused by several different household items such as: TV remotes, cable/telephone lines, electric lines, and even garage door openers to name a few. So to eliminate all possibilities of any interference we will and are using encoded transmitters (T-4's) and receivers (9 xt, 5000, micro). For more information or details on the listed products above please visit Dog Guards products page for more details.
Now that we have covered equipment let’s move on to layouts that we can do for you. Depending on what a customer request is, we can perform a variety of different layouts. If you for example you have: a pool, garden/s, or landscaping you’d like to keep your pet out of we can lay a separate boundary around just about anything. We can explain more once we come out to give you an estimate. Here’s a very basic layout that would cover the whole yard:
To put this picture into words we’ll explain a little of what is going on with this layout.
The RED line is the very most outer boundary/parameter wire that covers all or part of the yard depending on preference from the customer/you. This is the wire that actually carries the radio signal around the yard and works hand in hand with the receiver/s or collar/s on the pet. In other words this wire is responsible for sending the correction to the pet.
The BLUE line represents what is called a warning parameter/boundary. This is controlled by the transmitter/box and can be adjusted to a certain amount in feet. This is the area where a pet will receive a warning before the actual correction will happen. The warning is usually a audio sound mixed with a vibrate from the collar.
The YELLOW dotted line represents the messenger wire that runs from the house where the transmitter is installed, out to the red line or boundary wire in the yard. This wires job is to send the radio signal from the transmitter to the boundary wire, but allow a pet/s to cross over it without receiving a correction.

Please contact us to set up an appointment to discuss pricing, more details, and to choose the best layout for your needs.
Here are some pictures of jobs that we have done. This gives a good idea of what to expect after a job is completed by us.
